When J.M. Haggar Sr. (that's "Hay Grrr") first set foot in the good ol' U S of A, he wasn't just your average 34-year-old Lebanese immigrant coming over here to try his luck. Nope, J.M. was a "make it happen" kind of man, and luck had very little to do with achieving success. So, in 1926, when he put that ass-kicking spirit of his at the helm of Haggar Clothing Co. in Dallas, Texas, it wasn't much of a surprise. Founding a company with the goal of supplying the working man with quality apparel seemed like something he was destined to do. And today, more than 80 years later and 1,500 strong worldwide, the Haggar Clothing Co. is still upholding that very same goal. Through innovation. Elbow grease. And good old fashioned know-how.
