It's an opportunity for us to come up with a few clichéd phrases on how we're the "Nation's Premier Supplier of this" or the "World's Largest Online Retailer of that". Perhaps we can impress you with a bunch of data on the size and depth of our line or rattle off a few statistics (of which you couldn't verify) on the number of garments we've shipped, supplemented with a laundry list of clients who've made their way through our doors…

Naaah. We'd rather give you the low down on exactly why we're in business, identify a few core values and explain how by shopping with Carefree Casuals we can help to put a few dollars back in your pocket. Hopefully, afterwards you'll feel inspired to give us a try.

A History Lesson (Not Really)

Carefree Casuals was founded in 1993 as a work clothing and uniform provider (Carefree Uniforms), however we quickly learned that work wear was not what inspired us. Anyway, our industry was consolidating and the brands that were once only available to the major department stores changed direction and opened their distribution platforms to offers from corporate resellers. That's where Carefree Casuals comes in. We have the industry experience (65 years combined management) and the buying power to attract a collection of well known lifestyle brands and in turn get to share that benefit with the community.

Just exactly how do we choose our brands? Well, Richard Branson when asked exactly how he determines what services to bring to the marketplace reminds himself that he is his target customer. If it's up to the standards of Sir Richard then it should meet the demands of the consumer.

All of which brings us to our Primary Core Value: Reciprocity

The key element of the golden rule is that a person attempting to live by this rule treats all people, not just members of his or her in-group with consideration. The above said, every action taken by every employee of Carefree Casuals is done so in accordance with this belief.

Often we are asked "just how do you guys carry so many line items?" Well the answer is pretty simple. We don't stock anything. That's right, the primary function of Carefree Casuals is to act as a consumer advocate for our clients. We can offer an increased brand selection because we're not burdened with the financial constraints of physical inventory. The way we see it is if the Manufacturer perceived a need for a three pocket golf shirt in "Metallic Pea" who are we to deny the customer access to such a noteworthy design. All kidding aside, the real benefit here is that we've eliminated the middle-man and so you get the goods shipped straight from the source. What is the internet, but for a series of tubes… Now while this infamous quote from Senator Ted Stevens of Alaska does little to describe our industry medium the reality is data output is only as good as the data input. Therefore, the more current and accurate the information the better we can service our customers. Hence, data management and its efficiency is a top priority to Carefree Casuals because we feel the company that masters data efficiency will have a distinct advantage over its competition. Additionally, the same school of thought applies to our deliveries. Since all merchandise is shipped factory direct we experience three distinct benefits:

  2. Fewer shipments consume less oil generating an immediate savings and reducing our carbon footprint.

We will always tell you the facts. If a garment is out of stock you'll be the first to know. If a problem generates in transit you'll get the straight answer from customer service. Should an item be discontinued we will offer you either a suitable alternative or refund your money with no questions asked.
